My nephew Robbie Cooke dreamed up this Halloween Sasquatch e-card and wrote the script. My brother and I have 8 boys between us and I can say for sure this e-card is pure boy humor. Bennett voiced the Sasquatch and our animator Josh made it all come to life. This is without a doubt my favorite holiday. My teen is going as a big burrito wrapped in tin foil. This is the perfect recession costume unlike the $100 sandwich we built a few years back in an upholstery factory in Compton. For the steak burrito we did all our shopping in the Rite Aid dumpster where we found the perfect Loreal make up box. Otis cut out holes for his arms and head and then wrapped the box in tin foil. With a large sharpie, he wrote steak in giant letters on the back. Then, he skateboarded down to 7-Eleven in his giant burrito costume and they gave him free candy. Let me tell you it’s the little things with kids. He was so excited. Today he’s heading over to Chipotle (his favorite restaurant) where he is convinced they are giving him a free burrito. My little ones are going as Batman and a zombie. I still have to make the zombie dog. Any ideas? Here at Doozy we wish you all a very Happy Halloween!

Autumn Friendship e cards
I am in my cashmere with a hot latte watching Autumn take place in the backyard. Leaves are turning colors and some trees are already bare. Bennett and I are making some funny and heartwarming Thanksgiving e cards. As the holidays approach during this time of year we start to think of family and friends across the miles. Mukti, our resident voice over artist, made our new Autumn Friendship e card.
It’s a celebration of friends we love and care about it. Let us know what kinds of fall holiday cards you want to see and we will make them. In the meantime, have a happy cashmere wearing and hot drinks sipping fall!
NEW HAUNTED HOUSE HALLOWEEN E-CARD
Halloween is coming! On Friday I picked up the boys wearing my witch’s hat. There is something about costumes that instantly excites kids. We zoomed home my broom, ok SUV and carved our first round of pumpkins. While we carved away, I tried to convince them to dress up as Spongbob, Plankton and Mr. Crab but they refused! Sigh… I’ll have to be Sandy the Squirrel all by myself. The little ones of course want to be Batman and Robin and the teen is still deciding.
In the meantime, our first Halloween e-card is on the site! To turn this beautiful Victorian House into a frightful haunted house, click on our Haunted House ecard.
We have a big batch of Halloween e-cards in production and we will be adding them to the site in the next two weeks.
If anyone has any Halloween cards they want to see made, let us know.
New Interactive Birthday Card
My nephew Robbie and my son Otis made their first Doozycard. We wanted to encourage them to use their love of Youtube videos and internet games to inspire their Doozycard. After posting the e-card, we were thrilled to tell them, their animated e-card is popular! So we proudly introduce our first birthday e-card made by internet-loving teenagers: The Find the Cake Game.
New Fall Fairy E-card
Bennett and I love Fall especially because it’s so much fun to write the new Halloween cards and animate the beautiful, multi-colored Fall leaves. Animated leaves can be gorgeous as they gently fall to the ground or surprisingly scary as they turn into bats! (See our new and upcoming Autumn and Halloween cards). Our lovely little fairies can also be surprised by modern conveniences! Check out what happens to our adorable plump fairy in Autumn Fairy Surprise animated greeting. This funny fall e-card has been very popular already which makes us very happy.
My 3 boys and I will run through the leaves as soon as they hit the streets and even dive into a few leaf piles. I also promised the kids we would make candy this Halloween. Yipes! I know nothing about making candy so any tips, recipes or recommended websites would be much appreciated. I found these websites which look very informative: candylandcrafts.com and baking911.com. Any suggestions on candy making or shared funny Fall leaf stories would be appreciated!
